Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you located?
We are located on Riverside Ave, across the street from Cousins Oil, and just 2 doors down from Family Roots Produce Market. We are in the same building as Biotech Bargains. Our main entrance is at the back of the building.
Is there parking available?
Yes! We have plenty of parking available behind the garages adjacent to our building.
Are walk-ins permitted, or do we need a reservation?
Yes! We are happy to accept walk-in customers. However, it's a good idea to at least call ahead of time to ensure there is availability.
Is the studio wheelchair accessible?
Yes! Our studio is wheelchair accessible. However, the wheelchair entrance is located on the side of our building and usually remains locked. Please call us when you arrive and someone from our staff will meet you at the door and escort you to our studio.
Are food and drink permitted?
Yes! We permit food and drink in our studio. Many of our workshops are also BYOB, permitting visitors to bring a beer or wine of their choice to enjoy while making art. We reserve the right to ask for proof of age.
Is there a recommended age for participation?
Although throwing paint is wildly fun for everyone, we do recommend that participants be older than 5 (there is no maximum age!) We primarily use acrylic paints which, although non-toxic, may not be suitable for toddlers.
Can I splatter my own shirt?
If you are planning to splatter a T-shirt in our Splatter Room, here’s how to prepare: - Bring a shirt to splatter (don’t wear it here): We don’t have changing rooms, so please bring your shirt separately. - Poncho option: Slip your splatter shirt over a plastic poncho when you arrive. After splattering, remove the poncho and painted shirt together, keeping yourself clean for the ride home. - Carrying options: We offer boxes for $3 to carry your wet shirt home. - Be prepared: Without covering up in the splatter room, both your shirt and pants may get paint on them. So, please plan accordingly so you can enjoy your splattering experience! Alternatively, check out calendar for "Clothing Upcycle" workshops which allow for more intentional decorating of a clothing item.
